I am wanting to relocate the charcoal canister out of the engine bay, in order to accomplish this I need to lengthen the wires that go to the canister. I am thinking about cutting the wires, about 4" away from the connector and splicing in longer wires to achieve the desired length. Will this cause any problems ? What do you think. Thanks, Kyle.

No problems as long as you solder the splices. Crimp-on connectors won't cut it, mine has been inside the fender for years.

Relocated mine usng an ATR relocating kit. Did not have to cut wires

Sent from my SAMSUNG-S3 using Turbo Buick

if your doing it because of the air intake? try this..this is where mine is strapped to.
