Does anyone know what parts house has a rebuild kit for our alternators and maybe a part#.TIA.

You can get the brushes, brush holder, diode trio, bearings, and rectifier bridge through most parts stores. The voltage regulator will probably come from AC Delco. The voltage regulator is not the $10 part you might expect, it runs about $50.
