The link above should take you to espn.com's boxing sports page, go to the bottom of the page and click on the link under friday night fights that says, "Angel torres gets the one punch knock out."

Watch the vid carefully, it is quiet a shocker! Personally I think the victor(Torres) showed some very poor sportsman ship, but he did not break any rules.

Thats why you should be ready to fight when the bell rings, I only touched gloves if I saw my opponent commiting to the same and even then it was tenative. Most of the time the ref will tell you to touch gloves while he's explaining the rules then say "come out fighting." or something along those lines. I agree it was in bad taste but it happens sometimes, maybe they had some history..?
