Nice car! I've always liked that body style. I like the 77-78 better, but that is probably the nicest one I've ever seen. I thought the anniversary cars came with a 301turbo?

No the 301 turbo was in the 80 pace car and they were slugs

BTW- an automatic was also available with the T/A Pontiac motor.. not all were 4 speeds

Not to get into a pissing match Frank, but I believe all the true 400 pontaics left the factory with a 4 speed in the 10th anniversary cars. I owned one several years back and had lots of background literature etc.

On the 10th's Pontiac wouldn't let the dealer order the Pontiac 400 and an automatic.

I might be wrong but it was never published anywhere in the documentation I had,,,
