Checking ECM

Does anyone know how to check an ECM if it's faulty?

Swap it with another one..theyre cheap and plentiful in junkyard across America..most GM vehicles from the mid 80's 3.0 FWD used our ecm's..just open the hood and look for the coil pack to look like ours...under the dash you'll find it..7148 prefix on the tag..done..


Swap over the two chips from your old ecm..done.

Pull-a- part gets like 30 bucks for one..every Buick owner should have a spare in case of your scenario..along with a spare MAF, coil pack ign module..these are must have's for fast troubleshooting.
