Chip Swap ??

What would happen if you installed a chip burned for 42lb injectors w/alcohol on an engine with 52lb injectors w/alcohol and a smaller turbo ?? have a friend trying to piece a car together & doesn’t want to dump a bunch of $$$ in it. (don’t shoot the Messenger )

It would run like crap and probably not idle at all. It probably won't even start, it'll just flood.

Injector size is a primary component of the math used to time injection and fuel the engine. If it's burned for 42, it will only work with 42s.

lol !!! I'm not an expert, but I figured it wouldn't be good. i guess that's why they suggest Matching chip & injectors
