WHAT AFTERMARKET CHIPS HAVE WORKED FOR YOU GUYS (hotair with '87 ECM) ?
So far my Lubrandt has been so-so. He made it for my car and told me to set the fuel pressure at 43psi static (no less than 40psi), and I always wind up turning it down as far as 32-34psi to get the car cookin (?).
My Thrasher92 has been a problem so far. See other thread : "Thrasher in '84".
Believe it or not my car seems to feel better with the thumb wheel chip (made for an '87) set in the stock position!? (havent really had to set the FP extremely low either, about 38+ and it still runs strong) So-so in the other settings up until, I think, position 6. Maybe the car just likes more timing?
