Chris is at the world finals for the PSCA in Phoenix.

His first pass off the trailer was an 8.39 at 166mph.
Still with the stock suspension and over 3500lbs.
Thanks to Wolfe Racecraft for keeping the car straight!
He was trying his ATI 9inch and it would not flash high
enough for the power band of this duttweiler creation.
He and a couple of racers helped him install my trusty 8inch
Art Carr and he is hoping to get his 60 back to 1.30 and maybe into the 1.2x range from the soft 1.38 with the ATI.
I would hope that a 170mph would be in the cards this weekend.
Not bad for a 3500 plus pound stock suspended brick.
Yes the car still has the factory t tops

Special thanks to Bruce for freshening the tranny so quick.
That is one tough Turbo 400!!!

damn that is hauling some butt...... give my congrats to Chris.... and we want video :).

Bruce,

You are scaring me!!!
You better not screw around too much now that the Terminator is in you back yard =) LMAO

Chris ended up having his tires go away.
He did find some additional power in in the 1/8th.

Chris emailed me this last night.
"I did achieve a 5.24 in the 1/8 and 138mph!"

Congrats to Chris for the new best pass in the 1/4 and in the 1/8th (5.24 @138mph in the 1/8th would most likely be an 8.0 @170+mph in the 1/4) I know Chris is going to put that baby in the 7's with the stock style suspension!:D
