Chrome Shops in SD?

I was looking at getting some parts "chromed" like the stock turbo heat shield, up pipe, ect. Does anyone know where in San Diego to get this done and prices? Thanks!

Try Lemon Grove Plating, which is actually in National City, on the West side of the 5 and Civic Center Dr. I think. I can't give you prices, but they take a while. I think they ship parts out for triple plating.

Fwiw, all chrome plating/processing by it's very nature is triple plated, a flash coat of brass or copper, another layer of brass or copper, and then chrome, or something like that. My understanding is that chrome is not known for it''s adherance to base metals, hence the flash & secondary coat.

Isn't triple banned in California? I know they closed a couple shops in SD and fined a couple others a while back.

I used to take my GS stuff to Lemon Grove Plating. No longer in Lemon Grove as Bryan said above. At the time they were the best place I'd ever dealt with. Chrome plating is quite expensive if done correctly and there are a huge number of EPA regulations to deal with. It seems to me that they don't do wheels either if you were looking to have that done.
