Hello guys,

I just wanted to inform you of my experience with Chris @ CK Transmissions.

I did a search on this forum for a rare trans problem that seemed quite obscure.

I found several posts, but one in particular had a response from Chris that seemed like he knew the problem exactly and how to re-create it at will.

Needless to say, I sent him an email and he called me the following morning to discuss this matter in detail. I was quite pleased to see that he has great customer service skills even during a busy workday.

Basically, I would reccomend him for any of your 2004R needs.

Thanks again, Chris! :D

I also would like to thank CK. A few weeks back he offered to send out some free shift kits to a few members, all they had to do was call his shop and give their address and post results afterward. Well I called Chris and he was very helpful and polite and promptly sent me a shift kit for free, all I have to do is post what I thought about the kit. Well I haven't installed yet, but I soon will....its really cold in the non heated garage!. It looks like a nice setup with easy to follow directions and should be a 2 hour install hopefully. I will let everyone know how it went when it gets above freezing.

Hey wonder if Chris wants me to try out one of his stage IV TH400 rebuild kits... Maybe install it too, I'll strip down the trans, he can just put it together.... I promise to post my results this year as I beat the hell out of it. Hell, I'd even put a sponsor sticker on my back window.... :)

Was kidding. I've built many of them in my youth. Now it's just a matter of getting the time to do it with work and family. Shouldn't take me more than a day taking my time.
