classic arcade games, MAME32

I have this disc that lets me play arcade games on my computer...There is one game ( Rastan ) that is listed but it doesn't have the roms for it to play...I downloaded the roms, its listed like it should play, but it doesn't...This is driving me crazy, I'm not a computer brain in the least...Everything I need is online..Can anyone help me play Rastan on the computer ??

Sometimes games are available before MAME can handle them. When I get a chance, I'll see if this one works for me.

I have 2 versions of Rastan (World and US). They both seem to work fine on mine.

Do any of the other roms work?

Make sure under the options/directories menu in Mame, that the directories field is pointing to the proper Roms folder.

The only one that I have gotten to work is the japan version , and it is missing lots of charactors and weapons, not to mention rastan has a cheesehead....I tried putting all the roms for rastan that I have found in the rom folder and then all 4 versions were crossed out..So then I had to undo that and the japan version plays again and the US and world version are not crossed out but don't play... Can you send me your rom folder for the rastan version that is the closest to the arcade version ? Thanx for the help...

I got it !! I had to change the name of the folder from rastanu to rastan....I don't know why it worked but I got it...THANX
