I would have taken that bad boy. That's the final piece of my puzzle and it was at the right price.

why would you run a distributor on a combo with a 66turbo, youd still need a distributor and a msd crank trigger wheel to use that box , and with the power level and rpm range of the 66and your cam it would be a huge waste as theres nothing wrong with the stock DIS setup well over 6K rpm

now if that was a DIS box it would have been gone when i saw the ad post up

I'm using a distributor with a 66 also, and the stock crank sensor, works great!! Gained 3 tenths and over 5 mph doing the switch.

I would have taken this FAST too, put me in line if the above deals fall through..

Fast Freddie, did you gain the 3 tenths/5mph, going from a stock ecu/maf to the distributor, or are you saying you made the gains going from a F.A.S.t./stock wastespark, coil pack to a distrubutor? Thanks, just curious.

For some reason I can't read the part number. It looks like it's a Buick DIS box and not an IPU box. Just because he has a distributor doesn't mean it's not a DIS box, depends on what ignition strategy is being used.

Gained from going FAST/coilpack to FAST/distributor. When I made the switch on my stage motor, the gains were even greater.
