I have been doing a lot of work under the hood on my GN. Cleaning and detailing. I have done lots of polishing of parts such as fuel lines, oil cooler lines, adapt, and pretty much any part that is metal. Is there anything guys are using to keep things looking good?

Clear, ceramic coat.;)

Looks great Mike but the clear coat you speak of is that something you can do yourself or something that needs to be sent out to a shop and have done?

I sent mine out to have it done pro. Not sure if it's something you can do at home.

That is an option I'll look in to. Idk if anybody around here does ceramic coatings. I had a hard time finding a good powder coater.

Take a look at. SHARK HIDE it's supposed to keep aluminum from tarnishing up to 4 years. They are using it on pontoons and other things like that.

I looked up the shark hide. It seem like a good product. I think I'll try it out.

Dont try the POR15 Glisten PC clear its garbage and wont flow out right. I spent a few hundred on it and it was terrible. I tried different ratio mixes...different nozzles, different humidities...FAIL. Doesnt do what they say. Either orange peels, dulls or doesnt level off.
