Dear Fellow Turbo Buick Enthusiasts,
On August 14, 2008, I will join 6 other climbers to summit Grand Teton in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. You’re probably thinking, “First cage diving with great white sharks, now this?!?” While diving with sharks was a ridiculous adventure, climbing Grand Teton will benefit a much greater cause. This climb benefits Big City Mountaineers, an organization that provides mentorship to at-risk teenagers using the great outdoors as a venue.
BCM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide urban teenage youth in need of positive adult mentoring with a challenging and safe wilderness experience led by qualified adult volunteer guides. BCM participants gain guidance and leadership skills that can help them later in life, and they also get to experience nature in a way that would be difficult or impossible in their current living situations.
I have committed myself to reach the peak of Grand Teton, and I have also committed to raise a minimum of $2900 to help at-risk youth who are much less fortunate than we are. In order to reach my goal, I am asking for your support in the form of a monetary donation. Your donation is tax-deductible, and the money goes directly to this excellent cause!
You can donate online to my personal webpage or by mail.
For online donations (preferred method):

2. Each donor will receive an email with a printable receipt, and a tax voucher upon request
For check/money order donations:
1. All donation checks should be made payable to Big City Mountaineers
2. In the memo line of the check write ‘SFS – Matt Dwyer’
3. Mail donation checks to:
