code 31?????

any one know what code 31 could be? most common? i read what the code could be(like 8 different things) and i was wonder ing what i should do to check to narrow it down to one?

If I remember right - there is a fuse for this too.

Bad wastegate solenoid, blown ecm/sol fuse (top right fuse block 10 amp), shorted tcc lockup solenoid.
Look at the fuse, replace if popped.
unhook tranny plug on driver side.
go for a rip.
If the fuse still blows, look towards the wastegate solenoid, if it doesn't blow, plug in tranny plug again and go for a rip.
If the fuse blows now, chances are the tcc lockup solenoid is toast.

my code 31 was caused by blown fuse as mentioned above,, VERY HELPFUL WSLN,,,, my manual lockup switch would NOT work, CEL came on around 40, shutting car off & restarting shut off light until @ 40.... replaced fuse so far fine.
