Poly or rubber body bushings (mainly street, sometimes strip)
Stock suspension.
If the vote is for rubber, where do I look for them?
I found the poly set for $110.
Thanks
Paul

go for the poly kit, thats what i did about a month ago and i love it.....My car has 195,000 miles on it and now it rides and handles better than new. youll never have to replace the poly ones again, and also rubber will also cost a bit more.

i forgot to mention, if you have t-tops, get the rubber stock ones, the poly bushings are known to cause rattles with t tops on a higher mileage car

I wouldn't do poly in a street car. I have them in my race car and they transfer alot of vibration compared to the rubber ones. Yes, rubber will cost you more $$.

I think Kirban's has full sets if you want to go that route.

Thanks for the replies.
Looks like the vote is now tied. :)
Install sounds like dangerous voodoo to me, and I don't want to do it twice - so any more input will be appreciated.
Also did a search, and read posts stating that the extra GNX bushings were included from Jegs or Summit (poly)
But only see 24 listed in their catalogs. There should be 28, correct?
87gninpa - Solid roof car with 61,000 miles.
Thanks again.

I have the poly's in my Cutlass (put in about a year ago). Yes, they will transmit a bit more vibration. However, they also definatly stiffened the car up compared the shot stock bushings.

We have the stock rubber bushings in the GN (replaced about two years ago), and it seems pretty sturdy. I think its really up to how much vibration you're willing to put up with. I can notice the vibration in the Cutlass, but the car is already so hard to put up with it doesn't bother me. I would probably go with the poly's, but like I said, its more a personal preference.

i guess i forgot to mention, it really depends on yuor driving style. I like a car that corners well as well as goes fast, so i went with the poly bushings. If you just like to go fast in a straight line and still like that cushy buick ride, go with the stock bushings. Its really a matter of taste. and if you need any help on the install, just post a message or send me an email(nyr386@aol.com), its really not that bad at all.

I like the poly bushings, Energy Suspension from Jegs, and yes they include the missing GNX bushings. The ride is great. Yes, you feel the road a little bit more, but its still nothing compared to riding in any of my TA's!. If you want a Cadillac ride, buy a Caddy :D
