Probably old news, but is this just StageII? Or can they be adapted for the StageI applications as well?

25500182 Coil - NASCAR
Latest Buick "Stand Alone" ignition system. Features integrated coil and module. Rev-limiter and advance adjustment dial knobs are mounted on module. Military harness connectors. Requires only crank trigger impulse along with battery voltage to operate. Tachometer output is available from harness. Mounting lugs are built-in and ground strap is included. Use P/N 25500189 or P/N 25500190 harness.

The 25500190# is for EFI applications and the 25500189 carb'd.

GMPartsdirect lists them for $342.00 for the coil assembly and
$72.25 for the EFI harness.

Anybody use these or is this just a gimmick item?

They are primarilly BMS stand alone units.
It does require the BMS crank trigger assembly. Won't use the stock setup, and non of this will interface with the stock computer. The BMS ECM is also required. When all's said and done, a LOT OF $$$$$$

Thanks

Thanks for the info.
I saw the Buick V6 Performance link on GMPartsDirect and
just wondered what it was all about. Definitely $$$$$$$.
Thanks again
