Upon further review, it does have a useless two back seat area. And Leather, like a Limited.
 
It has options for a rear bench console that gets rid of the back seats all together or twin buckets. I'm 6'3 and can fit behind the passenger semi comfotably. This is the coveted "r" or "m" model that has been in the works for some time. The development of the turbo mills slowed production. The V8 version is a very reliable daily driver.

On another note the new line of "smaller" maserati's use the twin turbo V6 developed by ferrari. They sound very familiar.
