Cold Air?? Help

I am sure this topic is beat to death but here it goes. I am looking for a cold air setup where I can use the stock MAF. I am looking for something reasonable in price to acomplish this and something fairly easy for me to install by myself. Im not a mechanic by any means.

Our plain aluminum kits are the cheapest, you will also need a solid MAF pipe for a complete installation.

Am I going to gain anything using the stock MAF or should I wait till I have the money to buy a new MAF and translator?
