Compatible ecm?

When I try to start the car and turn the key to the run position the check engine light flickers. If I knock on the ecm like the police knocking on the door about 5 or 6 times it corrects itself and the car starts and behaves normally. It is the factory 87 ecm that ends in part#148. Are there any compatible ecms that can come out of the junkyard out of any other cars?

Note: Only use ECM # 1227148 with your TR prom chip and cal-pack.

Your problem may be how your chip is seated or with the chip itself. Pull it out and check the prongs and re-insert it, or try another chip. I also have ECMs for $75 shipped if that helps you.
