I have been working on a car a friend of mine just bought and it has a conley engine in it with a bout 10,000 dollars worth of parts. It has the following:
te61 turbo
GN1 heads
55 lb injectors
max effort chip/ and red 107 chip
houston down pipe
9 inch convertor
roller rockers
960.00 intercooler in stock location
450.00 secoundary fuel pump(conley)
plus a lot more
Now the problem, the car runs like pure $hit. 12.80@103 at silver dollar,
I just checked some things on it today and I found a stuck waste gate in witch we are working on now, tps was way off, witch is now fixed, but the car will come up on boost and then it will spike up and down real fast. at 15 lbs it should be running pretty quick but it falls on its fase. I pulled the turbo pipe off and found no oil in the intercooler or pipe. BUT the inside of the intake is flooded with oil. If you open the throttle blade the inside is soaked with oil and it is coming out around the top of the planum wher the vacum hoses connect. Where do you think it is coming from? I think maybe a blown intake gasket? We checked the pvc and it works and the car has no blow by out of the dip stick. I do here a little valve train noise but I think that is the roller rockers. Please any suggestions would be helpful. This car should fly but my old 009's GN will wax it for now.
