i know a stock converter for a tr is the d-5. but wasnt there some code on them of some other sort? i saw it posted somewhere, but i cant seem to find it now

I posted the GM info on gnttype.org in the trans tech section. What is the 4 digit code on the sticker with the barcode? It should have a C for the first digit to be for a 200,2004R,325-4L trans. Second can be either an A or B for the "K" factor (stall). Third digit is for clutch type, capacity,& travel in degrees and fourth digit is for cover style, number of mounting lugs and method of welding.

EX: My 85 GN converter has CB8D which means 200/4R/3254L, 1996 stall, 300ft/lb 44degrees travel, converter clutch type-3lugs with 180 degree weld.
