Converter install problems...

Hey I just got a new Stage 2 Transmission from Lonnie Diers and also a brand new Edge 9.5" torque converter. Everything has gone smooth so far but when we went to put the converter onto the tranny it will not go on the 3rd "click". The old stock converter will go in all the way on the new tranny and the Edge converter will go onto the old tranny all the way. For whatever reason the new converter just will not go onto the new tranny. Has anyone ran into this before? I have tried to call Lonnie to see if he has any ideas but he has not answered. This is the only thing hanging me up to get this new tranny in so any response will be appreciated.

Try spinning it back and forth while pushing in. Some lube on the splines might help too. I had this problem with mine it was a PITA!!!

Does it have a billet input shaft?
