I just installed a fancy Len Freeman tranny in my GN.I hate it when it goes into lock-up.I know I could get my turbo tweak chip re-done so I could loose this function, but before I do-is there any other way?I jumped the ADL-top left & top right with a toggle switch, but that just allows me to lock it up in any gear at any time,it still allows reg.lock-up with switch in 'off' position.

If you are going to eliminate it completely you need to install a non lock kit in the tranny to allow lube correction.

Some chips have adjustable lock up so you can make it not lock at all unless you are at highway speed.

Also you can interrupt the lockup wire going to the trans and put it on a toggle switch so you can manually override it.

Hmm,Im all over this putting in a toggle to override it.Would anyone know where this 'wire" would live?Id like to leave the lockup in the car,in case I wanna use it or sell the car,so the toggle would be a great idea!

You don't like it while cruising around in 4th??
What don't you like??

The easiest place would probably be the brake light switch. There are two connectors on it. One for your brake lights, the other for power to the TCC. Just put the toggle switch in series with one of the wires going to the TCC connector. I'm not sure why you would want to defeat the lockup unless your running a stock chip.
