converter lock up switch

I'm looking for info on wiring a switch in to lock up converter. I've been told it can be done thru ALDL. True? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to run a switch from Pin F (top left) & Pin A (top right) of the ALDL. This will lock the converter when the car shifts into second gear. You should see at least a .2 reduction at the track.

the best way to utilize such a switch however, is to wait until the car has shifted into third before activating it. The tremendeous rpm drop and load at the 2-3 shift will hurt performance activating it in second gear.
