Converter not locking?

The converter is not locking,,I removed it. all i found was a chunk missing out of the O ring. It was still in tack just a small piece missing. would that cause it not to lock?

It could depending, i think you would feel it lock lightly and slip under any power more than anything. Did you do your power checks to the solenoid and possibly give it manual direct power and ground to verify that the solenoid is functioning correctly before tearing it all apart?

The stock convertor was locking fine before i changed it. the 9/11 would not lock after install. when i had time to remove it. all i could find is a bad place in the o ring?
