I recently purchased a car from a guy on the boards. He said it was rebuilt with a 3200 stall converter, but it will only stall up to 2500 and won't build boost from a stop. Could this be caused by anything? Or is it just plain and simple there is no 3200 converter in the car? Any other possible reasons? Thank you.
 
the engine state of tune could be a contributing factor,or you may be right about the crooked individual.have someone familiar with turbo cars take a peek at it.i vthink we have a moderator on the site from hawaii he may know someone.www.ckperformance.com
 
The engine tune could effect its ability to build RPMS from a stop? What would I need to adjust? Or just a compilation of everything? Thanks sir!

My fuel pressure guage is kind of funny I think, I have it at 38 and its still rich. Something small like spark plugs wouldn't be the cause of this right? Sorry i'm very naive and lost.. ha ha :) Also, the tranny shifts very early, if I manually shift it, it seems so much more powerful, but if it shifts on its own, it shifts so early and feels like a dog. I have the cable adjusted as tight as it can be, but my friend said the cable looks generic, so we're replacing it with a stock GN one.
 
Cale that car does have an Orange Stripe Street Brawler Convertor in it. I bought it from a guy on this board that owns a transmission shop in Savanha GA. I think the number is sb-4849 for the convertor.

Did you buy it off the board? Or did you drive there? Because I did a search and nobody on this board ever had a street brawler 3200 for sale. Also, do you have the receipt? Or atleast your transmission receipt would have it right? Im pulling the pan today and im gonna look to see if it has the stall converter in it. Please let me know ASAP.
 
Yep I bought it off of here from a guy in Savanha. He has some of them listed right now. It is an orange strip street brawler convertor.
