alright guys heres the scoop.
I talked to a good tranny builder, that many people recomended from the board. I got a good quote on a build that will hold up to high 10s and still be great on the street where it will see most of its time. He recomended changing the converter out to something with a 3000 stall. Now this is where im confused.
I read on vortex buick and that a stock converter is fine for a stock turbo stock cam set up, and will even do good with a turbo upgrade to a ta-44. My set up is stock turbo, stock cam, 009 injectors, turbo tweak chip, razor alky, hotwired walbro fuel pump. Intake and a 3inch exaust from the downpipe back.
My "stopping point" on time wise is a goal of 11 seconds flat, and i do not plan on putting a cam or turbo in untill i need to due to myne wearing out and needing to be changed out.
Any input would be great. And i know search, search, search, but right now im deployed and the internet is SOOO slow, it took me 30 min just to get to post this thread. Thanks guys!
