converter questons

is anyone using a 9.5" Vigilante Multi-Disc torque converter with a stall around 32-3400. stock motor, heads, and cam, precision t6262 billet wheel, accufab TB and doghouse rjc plate 4" cold air 3" down pipe no cat dual 2 1/2" exhaust will get chip and injectors next

I've read that some at least suspect Vigilante converters of being problematic. Others have been able to make them work.
