converter???

right now i got a 3500-3800 stall from poston N/L, i want to go smaller and a lockup for better times and gas mileage, what should i look for besides the obvious, like for a 200r4 and the size of the stall, like the 9" or 9.5" or 10"????? and pumps and bands??????????/

IS THE POSTON A GOOD BRAND/UNIT, I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 10" 3200-3400 STALL BECAUSE I HAD A 2800-3000 WITH TERRIBLE 60"
