Whoever you find to do it for you is more interested in taking your money than you having a car that is "fun".

To make it work you need to think about starting with a stage II.

The article you are thinking about puts a weaknut T-5 behind a 200 HP non intercooled '85 motor (And I bet he still eventually broke the transmission).
