What all is needed besides the translator, MAF itself.

Piping and such. Make your own or is a kit available.

Or should I just go with a 3" and use the stock piping?

Thanks

3" was easiest for me.

4 hoses (each cut to length)

To get a smooth edge on the hoses:

slide the hose onto the MAF until the remainder of the hose extends beyond the end of the pipe.

using a sharp utility knife, cut the hose following the smooth edge of the end of the pipe.

if you think the hose might slip, just use a clamp to hold it in place.

2 clamps for the filter(if behind the headlight)
8 clamps for the rest of the system
2 exhaust pipe 45* elbows
1 MAF pipe

www.fullthrottlespeed.com has a good selection.

We offer 3.5" MAF pipes in both chrome plated steel and aluminum.

You can attach a K&N filter to the end of the MAF sensor and keep the filter under the hood or go all the way and get one of our Big Mouth Cold Air kits.
