Oh .....I know :wink: . It's killing me bolting it up to my new stroker engine on the stand today , looking outside and seeing all the snow blowing around like crazy. thanks again .

Just finished the cooling line hook up . For those looking for a alternative hook from the water pump this is how I did mine . worked like a charm and looks real "clean" .

That's where the "s" hose for the header core hard line hooks up to the pump . I shortened the casting neck about 1/2"-5/8", and the ID was "just about" the right size to run a 1/4" NPT tap thru ( I imagine some water pump castings may variy in size, and there is more then likely enough meat on it to drill and tap to a 3/8" NPT if you wanted) and get a half decent thread out of it . I also installed the 1/4" MIP x 1/4" FIP 45 degree fitting with some JB Weld on the threads for Ins . the only other fittings need are a 1/4" MIP x 3/8" Hose adapter and a 1/2" MIP x 3/8" hose adapter for the manifold and a few fuel Inj hose clamps .

correct . car only see's the summer . never use the heater or have a need for it . I guess if you want to keep your heater ,the water pump could be drilled and a threaded alum bung welded to the water pump in the appox the same location and that would work as well . or maybe drill/tap the pump (should be thick enough to get a few threads out of it) . and JB Weld in the fitting .

I thought the turbo shield would fit better with the line under.
My shield has been cut to fit a TE44 anyway and the THDP
