that is a great vid...i've had it saved on my comp for a while now....just a few notes, its not all the same plane/pilot as you can easily tell, one of the pilots is wearing a "blue" angels flight suit, thought that was interesting...also at 2:38 into the vid the pilot looks over at the guy next to him and gives him a hand symbol, its the "kiss off" basically telling him, you are now on your own....its how a "formation" flight breaks up into to 2 separate flights

and the shot shortly after that of him turning final to land on the boat, 4 more planes are approaching the "over head" break just as he and his wing man had done when he kissed off.....thats a GREAT shot!

i wonder if there is anywhere you can go pay a fee and take a ride like that, that would be cool and i do it in a minute...

only ride you can get in an F-18 is if you are some sort of VIP usually in the media, you can get a ride in the dual seat blue angel plane (#7)

lets put it this way though, i am a naval pilot stationed here in pensacola (where the blues are stationed) and there is almost 0 chance of me getting a ride......

as far as getting a ride in a jet powered A/C, yes i am sure there are jet owners out there willing to take people for rides for money...but it wont be cheap...as in the realm of 1000 or more per hour....thats just the cost of gas....and i am just guessing......

The Russians were selling rides in their top of the line Sukhoi jet fighter, I believe it's the SU-31. It rivals the performance of our best fighter.
