Cork Or Neoprene???

I've had good luck with both. If you take the covers off pretty often, I prefer neoprene. They seem to be a bit more forgiving, and remain leak free after being disturbed several times.

It's probably just as important to tighten the bolts down evenly, and make sure everything is clean before assembly, regardless of whether the gasket is cork or neoprene.

I personally like to use a bit of RTV to attach the gasket to the valvecover somewhat so it doesn't stay stuck on the head when the cover has to come off. Easier to clean and replace that way, and less chance of the gasket not being aligned properly and causing a leak.

Good luck

Thanks for quick response Billy, I am rebuilding my motor right now so it will be as clean as it will ever be.
