Will this work in our TB cars? I am no rocket scientist but I recall
back in 79/80 there was complaints about this stuff

It's not worth it if you can buy 93 octane gas without enthanol.

I've noticed a 10% reduction in fuel mileage on my other cars using 10% ethanol vs. straight gas. Basically if they had added nothing and just gave me 10% less gas for the money, the results would have been similar.

If a station is selling 93 and 93 enthanol, go with the gas unless it is more than 15% more expensive than the ethanol. Ethanol shouldn't hurt the engine in the least, though.

Ethanol is boondoggle to help out farmers. period. It costs more energy to produce than it generates by burning. The sooner everyone realises this, the better.

I'm from Nebraska and respect the American farmer, but I have to call them like I see them.

Here in the state where they know best for you, all gas has at least 10% ethanol in it unless stated at the pump. Pure gasoline is hard to find and it says on the pump only for older high compression motors.

Another fuel on sale at some stations is E85 with 85% ethanol and only 15% gasoline. I have been adding this about 50/50 with 93. The E85 has a 105+ rating. So far my car seems to like it. I'll have to see about mileage sometime, but it does seem to kill knock.

It would seem of you had a chip and injectors tuned for E85 you could run a strip chip and boost all the time.

And of course, be earth friendly.
