Correct heat shield color

I was looking at some pics of GNs and T-types on Ebay today and noticed that all of them had grey turbo heat shields. I then flipped through some pictures of my car back when it was stock and the heat shield had a black powder coating on it. When I got my car it was an insurance total and only had 80,000 miles on it.

there's no coating on a stock heat sheild. I have an extra one if your looking.

FRANK! You're alive! I haven't seen you in a while. You weren't at BM on saturday or the BOP race at PR on sunday. No, I'm not looking for another one it was just out of curiousity. Nothing else besides the paint had been changed on my car when I got it so it seems wierd that someone would have changed the turbo heat shield. Hope to see you out again soon before the weather gets too bad. My painter buddy with the Chevelle is still looking to run w/you sometime.

You should check out the intake I made for Randys TY. It's pretty cool, but was a LOT of work(had to put in a new overflow tank, lower the battery, relocate a vacuum canister, and move AC lines). He loves the way you can hear the turbo now.

I've been out of town and got back on Friday so I spent some time with the family. So, LS6 chevelle wants to run? John, right?

Let him know I'm his huckelberry and I'll do it in street trim. Meaning no racegas, just the way I drive it on the street. Better set this up soon. As it gets colder I get faster. LOL

Plus I'm only going to be in town for another week then I'll be in El Paso for 4 weeks.

Gonna be in town on sat? You traveling for work or fun? If you want to leave your car w/me while you're gone I can park it in our back install bay and get your amp and sub installed. It'd just sit there 'till you got back. John says he'll be at BM on sat. as long as it's nice out.
