correct speedo gear for 84 T

Tranny is missing the speedo gear, what tooth gear do I need for 3.42's ?

Here's what I found on my 87 GN.

These are the factory gears I found in my BRF tranny.
orange (11 tooth drive gear) and (green 29 tooth driven gear)

Actually the stock setup was 11 drive/30 driven (orange gov gear and blue driven gear).

Shine a flshlight in the trans. If its an orange governor gear you need a blue 30 tooth driven gear and if it happens to have a green gear in it you can use a black 27 tooth driven gear to give you stock ratio. All of this is assuming stock 26" tall tires (215/65-15 or commonly swapped to 235/60-15).

INEEDAGN is right. Had my 87 GN since new. My speedo was fast, I drop to the green 29 tooth gear. From the factory was blue 30 tooth gear.

May be the correct factory gears (actually the stock setup was 11 tooth drive / orange gov gear and 30 tooth driven/ blue driven gear).

When checked with my GPS, the above gear combination was between 1 to 2 mph out, on the slow side.
