10.5X@130.X with some low 1.5 60ft times.

Just a couple of times and then I'm done modding this car and will concentrate on the other car.

This is a power EVERYTHING hard top car with nothing but spare tire and jack removed.

This IS a street car I that I drive anywhere without a second thought.

Old combo: t63e, CAS V2, FEL-PRO , 83'S, hot wired 340, 210/210 billet roller, P&P stock iron heads, Jace brace, Hemco & 62 mm TB, CK level 2 tranny with A/C 3500 converter, stock manifolds, hooker exhaust capped up, 27x10.5x15 qtp's. SMC alky, digital egt and all the small stuff too.

New mods: 28x11.5x15 qtp's, mease headers, cottons duel 3" exh, also have a nearly 4k converter to go on if needed.

Thanks for any input.

If I can beleive what the F.A.S.T is telling me yes.

RED and Dave can vouch for the richness of my tune.

125.9 with room to spare.

I'd like something that has as well a spool up as the t63( have my cake and eat it too:D )

First couple passes with a larger turbo I will have the alky on just in case.

Nearting sorry to jump in here but DID you like the t63e??What times did you see with it?? Im going with the t63e 57#inj. and a 9x11 billet l/u3200.Thanks for any input.

Well I guess I couldn't complain about it.

Times in sig with old combo. Car also went into OD on that pass, maybe it didn't hurt but it sure couldn't have helped.

you should be able to do it with the 63E...is there any diff between a 63E and a T66? (other than the BB aspect, which won't make you any faster)

with some "real" tires (ie not DOT) you should be into the 1.4x 60' range

that said, I don't think a single 340 will do the job since you will be running very high boost....prolly 30 lbs or so

I don't know if there is any diff other than the BB aspect of the turbos?

Turbo has already been sold to another VA member.

My best pass was at a tad over 26psi, first and only time boost had been above 24 psi.

I'm going to be VERY careful when going to another turbo, If needed down the road I will pull the fuel system off the other car since it will need a weldon pump anyhow.

My car doesn't "feel" like it is spinning out of the hole but maybe it is.

how hard do you leave? I typically launch at 4000 rpm (15+ lbs of boost)

that's how you get sub 1.5 60's and DOTs will not cut it!

BTW, I meant to say a single 340 will NOT be adequate......

I have a T66 BB turbo forsale if anyone is interested. I am asking 1100 shipped anywhere. Good condition with no issues what so ever. It was on my Dads twin turbo GN that made 3 passes with it then it was taking off for some T63's(it was more efficient for his setup) and put in a 10 sec street car that only was used on the streets at 15 psi. I have had a 63 on my car before and the difference between the 2 turbos is very noticable, especailly mid range top end. The T66 definately comes on harder and spools the exact same. The T66 is a 4 bolt exh housing which is a .81 a/r. 4" inlet and has a circular 4 bolt downpipe flange. Just food for thought to anyone who is looking for a T66BB turbo.
