Could an Eagle take down a Wolf?

I can see why the wolf does'nt have a chance, the guys on the horses run's the wolf to death then let the eagle go and the wolf can't defend itself, he's sick baster and should be shot in the head.Let natrue take it's corse.

Wolves are overpopulated in many areas in the world and are considered pests and unfortunately their populations have to be controlled, just like here in the states when people hunt and kill deer, coyotes, hogs, etc.. For example, in Alaska they hunt wolves from helicopters with high powered rifles. I've never gone hunting and not sure I would want to kill an animal unless it was for survival purposes or I at least intended to eat it, however I still understand that populations of certain animals must be controlled because in some instances the animals have no natural predators or not enough to control their numbers. Unfortunately, WE have messed up nature too much to just let nature take its course.
