i have a cracked block and need to know if the n/a 3.8 is the same as the turbob 3.8 i know one difference is that there is a turbo oil return line in the turbo motors that has to be drilled in a n/a motor but is there any more differences? what about differences in 84/84 as opposed to 86/87? thanks

They are the same, just make sure the new block has the "109" at the end of the casting number. And yes, the oil return hole must be drilled, otherwise, they are the same. HTH
