A longshot but have you checked the EGR valve? Should not be opening at idle.

Check your wiring and put new plugs in. They foul easily which may have been the case when yours went toes up.

well i finally got around to taking my cam sensor out,i got a good look at the cap under light today, and i noticed a small crack along the cap going from the middle of cap to the side away from the wires. could this be my problem????
