well..one rim. Well...a handfull of you know I just picked up a set of rims and tires. I started with the rear tires, and its a good thing I did. I was about to inflate one of the tires that was pretty much out of air. afterwards i proceeded to wash the inside of the rim before i put it on. just before I put it on...I pushed down onto the tire and i heard the sizzle sound where water got over that curbed end of the rim. sizzle sizzle sizzle more air started to come out. So...see..good thing I started with the back 1st. So what I'm really asking...where locally can I get the curbed rim repaired? Thanks guys.

Freddie's on Ilaniwai St.

Go see Clyde. (If he's there.) Shouldn't be a problem for him.

Yup Clyde is the best in Hawaii to fix damaged rims. I'm going to see him next week to finish repairing on one of my damaged GN rim.

Clyde is the owner of Freedy's rim and tire. Its loacated behind Island fender. If your comming down from Ward turn right into Queen street and make you first left and at the end of the street (short street) Island fender is on you right and then turn right and your there! There is a unpaved driveway and normally you will see his brown S-10 with a shorten rear end.

If it will make it better or easier for you you can leave the rim with me and I can drop it off for you later on this week.

Thanks guys. I may have to wait till my next paycheck to have the rim repaird. CRAP!! I was getting my hopes up to run them. At least I know the'll fit. I fitted the good ones on the car and they clear just fine! Another question, how much does he usually charge?

BTW, are you sure the problem is the rim and not the tire? you said it was flat/almost could it be leaking around the bead?

yah, i'm pretty sure its the rim. the damage doesnt look like its there from the side, but it looks pretty harsh from overhead.
