I finally got the car running!!! I had this terrible stumbling misfire and backfire. Came out to be that the cam sensor was pretty much shot to sh*t. I borrowed a friend's CS and the car ran smooooooove! :p I then proceeded to change the chip from the stock over the kenne bell chip. I disconnected the fuse, pulled out replaced the stock chip and tried to crank the car  aaahh...i forgot to connect the fuse link back on. I got out of the car and reconnected it, I thought "oops i forgot to turn the ignition off" I really though it was nothing. I tried to crank the car nothing. I know I'm getting fuel on the rail...and I could smell the unburnt gas' fumes from the DP. Am I not getting spark? I rechecked the CS position and reset it. tried to crank it over...nothing. I put the stock chip back in...nothing. I checked the fuses under the driver side dash..nothing. I can only assume crapped out the ECM because that was the last thing I touched. Any other thoughts on this? and what more things should I check? TIA

I'm not sure if thats your problem or not. I am following your line of thought in that it would seem logical that the ECM would be the problem.

My ECM experiences are limited. I did change my ECM to an 87 which didn't have a chip in it. I forgot this and like a jack @ss I crank the car over. It ran for 2 seconds until I remembered the chip was missing and shut it off. I would not recommend running the car without a chip but can verify that it will run rough without one. I would assume that a surge of static, etc. would possibly fry the circuit board. Good Luck Turtle! Let us know what you find.

should have a fuse by where you plug in by the battery. Check for voltage on both sides of plug-in. If that's good check voltage at the ecm. Pinout of ECM up in the Basic Hot-Air sticky. :D
