credit card question???

Do you get points on transfered balances on both cedit cards? I mean if I have a balance on my Visa and I transfer it to amex and pay it off, do I get points from both credit cards ot just the one I actually pay off? Technically, when you transfer a balance, it is paid off by the credit card you are transfering the balance too.

I believe in that situation you will get points on both. Most CC companies give you points based on what you spend, not what you pay off.
