Cruise questions.. hopefully the last ones!

I am assuming the cruise indicator light will NOT come on in the dash unless the car is running at 35+mph right? I mean there is no way to activate the dash light while the car is stopped.

Second question, does the cruise control rely on the same check valve as the heater controls? reason I am asking is because I dont have one OR a vaccum ball, so im incorporating it when i re vac. all the stuff.

BTW, everything checks out great, with the exception of the brain box under the dash, thats under question but i have an extra that may work

It will not light unless the cruise is engaged. Mine will engage at 30 MPH.

I just looked at mine and out of the check valve it goes in 2 directions. to the cruise and to the heater controls.
