Hey just wanted to remind or let know for the first time, that my work place "THE PADDOCK" in Knightstown ,IN is having our Customer Appreciation Cruz-IN, on AUG,29th "09" 9:am to 3:PM.

The last couple of years I've invited everyone in the Buick community to attend but other Buick events were the same weekend.... as far as I can tell this year shouldn't be a problem.

Last year, we "the Paddock" had started and was anticipating a Buick catalog...but that was put on the Back burner due to the economy.

Maybe this year and if tons or "lots" of Buicks show up.... maybe it would sway the Boss....

My General Mgr owns a 71 GS 350/350 Buick, and has pushed also to revive it, so with his ,your and mine...who knows?

Also it might give us "the Paddock" some time to build a portfolio of some decent Buick "shots" to be used in the catalog if it is revived.

Thanks and we hope to see you there!!

Man I haven't been there at the Paddock for a few years.....used to drive my Nova up there to pick up parts for it. :) Now I live out of state.

There's a few Buick guys left in this area. About the only turbo cars I see around here anymore are a few TTA's, and a few hot air GN's. I think there's a couple of GN's in the Connersville area too.

Mine's been sitting in the garage for about (5) years now, I've been waiting to find time to work on it again. I'm having it painted this summer so I hope to have it on the road and the shows more often.

Shouldnt be a problem , we have semi delivery in back should be plenty of room for your trailer.

Was that you last week one night, on 40 beating on it? Yellow with the GNX flares?

Hey even think you stopped me at the corner of Foundry Rd & 40 one time, you was in that Yellow car I was driving my Regal with the GN hood.

That was one of us. Did you see the 1/8 mile black marks in both lanes? :D

Yep watched ya lay them , nice job painting the asphalt..... I passed when you all was turning around heading back in town, i slowed down and watched in my rearveiw mirror.

Rightous ,Gross Display of Horsepower.

As for parking a trailer, I steered you wrong, I guess they revamped the parking arrangements, mostly spectator parking in the rear.

It was suggested, one can park a trailer at the Middle School, before the Paddock and drive in, ( that's if your coming from 40 and going north on 109), and assuming you coming the same direction, there is a road just past our store, turn left on it and go to the first service drive to your left, the road to the radio tower behind us.

Both areas , in the past, people have been known to park their trailers there.

Hope this helps

Looking foward to see you there...:)

I was going to say... It's only 20 miles. So you'll have to stop for gas twice, so what! ;) Nah, I bet that car would make it on one gallon.

Cutluse231, I was looking at a job at the paddock a few years ago. They were looking for some people to do some marketing/graphic design. Been doing that for a $400M a year construction company, and thought it would be cool to move over to what I'm really into.

hey ronnie, steve from c-ville here, i plan on goin, if i can keep up i will follow you guys in ;)

Hey Steve, if we go we are going to haul it to knightstown and drive it from town. The fuel pump was 800 dollars and we don't want it to over heat. What time are you going?
