cut TV cable

well as i look more and more into this POS i just bought, its not really a POS, i keep finding stuff disconnected/half-ass'd all over the place....theres a cable thats cut that i found tucked behind the engine near the throttle body....it runs down the back of the engine but i havnt had nice weather to crawl around and follow it...but i assume its the TV cable

the car runs OK...it shifts very weak.....and if if at light throttle accelerating it seems like it revs too high so i lightly let up the gas and it shifts and i resume accelerating....this is at light throttle pressure only though.....

if my TV cable is not hooked up will everything work ok?

Not really. Exhaust check ball seating gets messed up at least in the '87 cars which controls pressures I believe.

I suggest the Helm service manual for that year car if you intend to restore it properly.

Best $75 I ever spent on my car.

Hope the tranny guys help you out soon too.
