Hey, I am posting about a problem I am having with my 87 Buick GN. After a good 35-40 minutes of driving, the car starts to cut-out on accelerations and can even pop if provoked. The MAL reads 00. I replaced the translator plus, the ECM, and even the 8 pinned passenger fender side box thing that has to do with ignition (forgot the name of it). Still getting the problem. Everything seems to be in working order otherwise. However, after the initial cut-out, the idle becomes a bit weird and the car overall doesn't feel right. When turned off and then back on, the problem persists unless it is sitting for a fair amount of time, which it can then be baby'd home. Not sure what else to do. I was recommended to try replacing the coil pack, but i wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions..

Thanks,
Kolme

P.S.: Also told that it may be bad gas, does that sound remotely possible?

Buy a CASPERS coilpak/module tester, and be sure of the condition, B4 U spend $$, throwing parts at it.

Coil Or Module

I Second the coil pack or module, once the ignition module heats up, they start acting funny sometimes.
