Well, yesterday (Monday) mourning when I went out to my car to head to my morning class, my car was unlocked, never thought anything big about it, figured that my dad probably moved it and forgot to lock it the day before or something.

Then this mourning as I am heading to my mourning class, my neighbor flags me down and says that on Sunday night (while I was at dinner with my parents at my sisters house) my alarm was going off on my car, she looked around to see if anything was askew or if anyone was around. She saw nothing.

So this mourning I was looking around at my car everything seemed normal, no broken steering column, nothing missing, nothing out of the ordinary. Then I kinda looked under my dash, by that kick panel on the driver side by the brake and gas pedal that my wires for my SMC kit and scan master were pulled out a little bit, before they were tucked up neatly under there, and while I was driving to school (this was both yesterday and today, but only on the way to school, not back... ) that I heard this funny 'clicking' noise coming from underneth the dash, somewhere between that kick panel and the radio, some where in that general area, so I guess I need to do some investigating there.

What is this, I have the worst luck with cars.

My el camino, that some of you know about, some of you don't... but long story short lots of money dumped into it, was in the process of massaging the bugs out of it... it was stolen and stripped on 5/31/02

My Grand National has been broken into, that was 2/12/03 and now my GN had been attempted to be stolen.

What the ****, do I have a sign over my head that says take **** from me I don't mind.

****ing ass holes

That's cool that you have a neighbor that was looking out.

Sorry to hear you have such bad luck, but then again, you were DRIVING your car, so your luck must not be all bad.

I hate hearing these stories, but I'm glad yours has a happier ending.

That sucks!!!:( I feel for ya dude cause down here you know as well as I do that these scumbags will do just about anything to steal a nice car.... My dad's GN years ago was stolen right out of our driveway and then recovered nearly a year later, but it was too late by then (he already got the insurance check and bought another GN).... If you don't already I would look into some sort of fuel pump/ignition kill switch or as crazy as it sounds disconnect the ECM! The scary part is if the a$$holes want it bad enough they will just get a tow truck:eek:

I remember when my friends and I used to get broken into and stuff stolen. I figured it was where we were hanging out drinking and playing music. They used to watch us and hit our cars from time to time.

He had an '80 Malibu classic with a Chevy SB and a powerchrger 144, his dad heard a commotion and got his Desert Eagle, if you know what I mean. I am not sure what happened after that.

Needless to say, they caught some punk and managed to pin about 8 car thefts on him, nothing has happened since then..

enough rambling.
